Zappos took an extremely provocative approach - by spreading posters of naked women all across New York CIty censoring the private parts with the tag-line - More Than Shoes! The posters even have QR codes that lead you to their mobile website where you can dress the model and buy the clothes yourself! There's even a quiet entertaining video!
